The Office of Campus Life at FIU’s Biscayne Bay Campus has postponed the Florida Collegiate Programming Expo until 2014. Major sections of Wolfe University Center are going through renovations and will not be ready for use until Spring 2014.
The Florida Expo brings students and staff from higher education institutions together with talent from the state, including novelty acts, speakers, comedians, poets, musical acts, and other entertainers. The event provides a wonderful opportunity for those who are responsible for programming on their campuses to observe showcase performances as well as meet with artists and talent agents from the state. It also provides a fantastic opportunity for other community organizations and businesses that may want to exhibit their products or services to event planners on college campuses.
Last year’s expo attracted over 200 students and staff members representing 30 colleges from the state of Florida. The Expo includes novelties, game shows, attractions, and exhibits throughout the day as well as two exciting entertainment showcases. Several days in advance, a final schedule will be released that will include the names and times for all of the showcases and as well as a list of participating novelties, exhibitors, and schools.
For College and University Representatives
The expo is FREE for college and university participants if registrations are received prior to June 7th, 2012. From June 7th – June 14th, the cost for college/university attendees is $20 per person. Registration includes lunch and access to all novelties, exhibitors, and showcases. The lunch for colleges/university participants is made possible by the generous donation from Exquisite Catering.

There is a $35 fee for novelties and exhibitors if registrations are received prior to May 1th. From May 1th, the cost for exhibitors is $50 per novelty/exhibit. Lunch may be purchased for an additional $10 per person.
